Defence is key for boss Irvine
The Owls are unbeaten in their last three matches having taken a point from each and boss Irvine was encouraged by his side's latest defensive performance in the goalless weekend home draw with Derby.[LNB]Irvine said: "We didn't take our chances, but the plus side is that we didn't concede a goal and if we can keep that going it gives us a really good chance between now and the end of the season."[LNB]The Owls have no respite this week with another home clash, against relegation rivals Watford, on Wednesday.[LNB]Irvine added: "Every game is important. The one against Derby was really important and Wednesday's undoubtedly is."[LNB]A win for Irvine's side would lift them above Watford in the table with a one-point advantage, but the Hornets have two games in hand.[LNB][LNB][LNB]
