Coach Rhodes rejects Cooper's Posh

Rhodes had been lined up as a replacement for Darren Ward - who has linked up with former Posh boss Darren Ferguson at Preston - but has decided to move to Sheffield Wednesday instead.[LNB]Cooper had told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "Andy knows (assistant manager) Nicky Eaden from Barnsley.[LNB]"I think it is important we have someone we know well. He will stand our corner and will prove a valuable part of the team."[LNB]Meanwhile, young Posh striker Kwesi Appiah has joined Blue Square Premier side Kettering on a month's loan.[LNB][LNB]
