Boss frustrated after draw

Sheffield Wednesday manager Alan Irvine was a frustrated man after seeing his side forced into salvaging a 2-2 draw at home to Yeovil. Reda Johnson scored his second goal in four games for the Owls since his move from Plymouth in the 86th minute after Giles Coke had missed a re-taken penalty, this coming after new striker Gary Madine netted his first goal for the club. Dean Bowditch and Paul Huntington had twice given Yeovil the lead, while visiting pair Luke Ayling and Adam Virgo were sent off within five minutes of each other just after the hour-mark. Speaking after the match, Irvine said: "It was very frustrating. It was a game we should have won and didn't. It feels like a defeat. Let's face it there were some very strange things going on out there. "I can't fault the players for their efforts, though they did make a few wrong decisions. "There were times in the last 20 minutes when I wondered what we had to do. We had enough chances to win comfortably and on another day would probably have done so."
