Beevers focussed on League
Sheffield Wednesday defender Mark Beevers does not think Saturday's FA Cup clash with Northampton will distract the Owls from their main priority this season.
Promotion-chasing Wednesday secured a third straight league win to climb to within two points of second-placed Charlton in midweek and are aiming for a sixth successive victory in all competitions when the Cobblers visit Hillsborough for their second-round tie.
Beevers told the club's official website: "I think you should welcome all games that come at you and everyone enjoys playing in the FA Cup.
"Confidence is high in the camp. We're starting to push forward and we're gelling well at the back and keeping clean sheets.
"If we carry on doing that, we should push on for what we are all aiming for and that is promotion from League One."
