Alan has money to spend - Mandaric
New Sheffield Wednesday chairman Milan Mandaric has reassured manager Alan Irvine there will be money to spend in the January transfer market.
Mandaric has stated he wants new arrivals at Hillsborough to be Championship quality in order to gain promotion and has promised to back Irvine when the transfer window opens.
"Our manager will get proper support. There will be money for him to spend," he told the Sheffield Star.
"It would be very difficult to give a benchmark figure. At this point, we have just talked tentatively. We don`t want to overburden ourselves in buying players who are in this division.
"We have to make sure they can help us make a difference in the Championship. This second half of the season is crucial for us."
