Adrenaline will get us through - Purse

Both the Owls and the Blades are preparing for their third league game in six days but this will not be an issue as far as former Cardiff centre-half Purse is concerned. The 32-year-old said: "As soon as you get on the pitch, you forget about any tiredness because more often than not the adrenaline will get you through the game. "It's been a tough week for us, not just with the games, but the results as well, so it would be nice to sign off with a win against our local rivals." Purse, who scored an own goal and was held responsible by his manager for the second his side conceded in Tuesday night's 3-1 home defeat to Middlesbrough, added: "If you don't get up for these kind of games, you shouldn't be playing football. I've bounced back before and I will do it again. "I've made a rick for the second goal and I hold my hands up to that. The own goal was different. I will always go for that kind of header because 99 times out of 100 the ball goes for out for a corner or gets cleared."
