Yeates keen to exorcise Baggies ghost

The Irishman played against the Baggies when they thrashed Middlesbrough 5-0 earlier in the season, though Yeates is adamant that the same fate will not befall Kevin Blackwell's men.

Yeates believes the Blades are more than capable of getting a result at West Brom after losing only one of six league games.

"Everyone knows how good they can be, but Sheffield United are known for making life tough for the opposition and being difficult to beat," Yeates told the club's official website.

"It is two different styles of football, but given the run we are on at the moment I quite fancy us, and arguably it is a good time to be playing them."

"There are a number of match-winners in our squad and everybody is full of confidence at the moment."
