Williamson, who has started in the Blades last two matches, said: "It's been really frustrating on the sidelines because I have never got a chance to show people what I could do before getting injured.
"It was even harder because the team has been struggling and I'm not a very good watcher.
"I've been around the squad and seen what's required, while the gaffer's made it clear what he wants from me.
"The gaffer wants me to be positive, get on the ball and link up play between midfield and attack. Hopefully I can help the team drive forward and get back into top six contention."
