It was broke last week that the Yorkshire-born 28-year-old said 'no' to a contract renewal at S2, and he explains why he came to this decision. He began: "Rejecting the offer won't affect my performances at all. I've spoken to the gaffer and I'm just happy to get my head down and try and get Sheffield United into the play-offs. "I'm in no rush to sign anything at the minute. It's mine and the gaffer's aim to get this club into the play-offs, and come the end of the season myself and the gaffer can sit down and have a chat."
