What the Fleck is Going On?

17 January 2012 16:11
Sheffield United and Blackpool are locked in talks in attempt to take Glasgow Rangers forward John Fleck on loan until the end of the season.

Fleck, 20 is looking to leave Ibrox to gain experience and couold move to either Sheffield United or Blackpool; with the latter (a Division above United) looking the likeliest. Both The Blades and The Seasiders have agreed a deal to take the Scotland U-21 International on loan until the remainder of the season with any decision now being left to the player.

Should Fleck decide to join the Bloomfield Road club then we would hope that could pave a way for Billy Clarke to return to the Lane!

Elsewhere winger Nathaniel Mendez-Laing has joined League One rivals Wycombe Wanderers on loan from Premiership outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan; he had previous spent time on loan at the Lane earlier this season before returning to Molineux early after picking up a lengthy injury.
