Ward salutes Blackwell approach

The 23-year-old was used sparingly by Blackwell following his £333,000 transfer from Chesterfield in January, but has featured more prominently in the first team this season, despite a spell on the sidelines due to a torn hamstring and broken wrist.[LNB]Ward said: "I feel really settled at the moment and I appreciate the way the gaffer gradually introduced me last season. If I had been thrown straight into the action it would have been a case of sink or swim.[LNB]"Instead I got chance to get to grips with the style of football and the expectations of the team and myself.[LNB]"The fans want to see you working hard and running for them, once you show that they appreciate you.[LNB]"It's certainly the best job in the world and at the end of the day I couldn't ask for anymore.[LNB][LNB][LNB]
