The 22-year-old slammed home Matt Kilgallon's first-half cross on the volley, but saw his effort disallowed for an offside decision before David Cotterill's 35th-minute penalty sealed a 1-0 home win over Swansea.[LNB]Ward said: "At the end of the day we got three points which was all that mattered really. We did all we could and it was tough going in the heat."[LNB]He added: "My disallowed goal was debatable really, but it's one of those things. I was more than happy with the finish as I was in two minds whether to head it or just get a good contact.[LNB]"I managed to do that and it was just unfortunate that the linesman ruled it out. There have been a few contenders for goal of the season already so I don't think that would have come into it.[LNB]"Once I get my first goal at home I'm sure they will start flowing, although I may have to wait now. The main thing though is we got all three points and I'm sure the fans aren't bothered who scores."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
