Walker lands England U-19 call

The 18-year-old defender has been included in Brian Eastick's young England squad for the European Championship qualifiers later this month. Walker, who made his debut against Swansea in April, has played in the Blades' last four matches, including both legs of the play-off semi-final win over Preston, due to Scotland international Gary Naysmith's cruciate knee ligament injury. He laid on the decisive second-leg winner for Greg Halford at Bramall Lane on Monday with a fine cross and could line-up for England against Bosnia Herzegovina, Slovakia and Scotland.
