Vote for Hal the Blade!
Hal Stewart (probably better known to the Blades Mad population as YorkBlade and also will be familiar to subscribers of 'The Hal and Paul Football Log') is asking for your help... Hal is now in the final three, after weeks of gruelling auditions down in London, to be the new Roving Reporter for 'Dave'. ‘Dave’ recently advertised for this role, although the exact title of the competition was the rather vague ‘Best part time job in the world’. This new role lasts for a year and would begin before the World Cup seeing the eventual victor (with your help hopefully the only Blade in the competition, Hal) report via video and in print on a variety of interesting topics that would deviate from other mainstream coverage. ‘Dave’ is know for being the home of ‘witty banter’ and Hal must have done something right to tickle the funny bones of a host of judges, including BBC Radio 1’s Comedy Dave as he now finds himself in the final 3 and needs your vote to take top spot.
