Tykes star Hume hits out at FA

The pair collided when Sheffield United visited Oakwell last season with Hume connecting with Morgan's outstretched elbow.[LNB]The Barnsley striker was first diagnosed with concussion and it was not until the next day that he decided to go to hospital to get properly checked out.[LNB]Tykes manager at the time, Simon Davey, criticised referee Andy D'Urso for failing to heed the 25-year-old's warnings that he should watch for flailing elbows minutes before the incident but Hume's gripe is with the FA.[LNB]"It's just very hypocritical," he told the Daily Mail. "The FA go against their own word so many times.[LNB]"Within the same week Didier Drogba was booked for throwing a coin back into the crowd and that was put in the match report yet he was given a three match ban.[LNB]"And then the whole (Emmanuel) Adebayor thing has just gone on. He was booked for the celebration and then given an extra suspended ban and fine. There you go again.[LNB]"It needs to be realised that you don't have to be in the Champions League or the top of the Premier League to have cases like this looked at properly.[LNB]"It should start from the bottom up, and I don't think it does at the moment."[LNB]A well as a fractured skull Hume suffered from shattered bone fragments causing bleeding on his brain making his condition life threatening.[LNB]The Canada international, who bears an 18-inch scar from the operation, is now back in action for Barnsley and despite speaking slightly slower than before Hume appears back to his best with two goals in his last two games.[LNB]The former Tranmere and Leicester man will come face-to-face with Morgan for the first time when the Blades visit Oakwell on November 9 - almost a year to the day of the incident.[LNB]Hume cannot speak too much about the United skipper due to the fact that the case is heading to the civil courts, but he does admit that he will begrudgingly shake the defenders hand when they meet.[LNB]"I really don't know," he added when asked what he will do when he sees Morgan.[LNB]"It's one of those isn't it? The professional thing would be to say yes. I probably would - but it would be the quickest handshake in the world."[LNB][LNB] Doncaster v Barnsley 1st Goalscorer: Hume, I. 15/2
