Swans close in on Cotterill swoop
Swans manager Paulo Sousa revealed his interest in the out-of-favour Blades midfielder last month and the Welsh side are poised to sign Cotterill initially on loan with a view to a permanent move, worth a reported £500,000, in January.[LNB]Jenkins said: "We are interested and we have been talking to Sheffield United.[LNB]"We are getting closer. We are certainly closer than we were last week, but nothing has been finalised as yet."[LNB]The Blades signed Cotterill, 21, at the end of a three-month loan spell in the summer of 2008, but he has never established himself as a regular in Kevin Blackwell's side.[LNB]Cardiff-born Cotterill, who has won 15 full caps for Wales, has made only three starts for the Blades this season.[LNB][LNB][LNB]
