Speed: We were disciplined

Sheffield United boss Gary Speed declared himself pleased with his side's overall display after they drew 1-1 with Nottingham Forest at the City Ground. Richard Cresswell headed the Blades into an early lead, but Forest improved after the interval and levelled when Steve Simonsen failed to keep out a long-range strike from Paul McKenna. Speed said: "We were delighted to be 1-0 up at half-time and it could have been more than one, but we knew they were going to come at us in the second half. "I thought we were very disciplined but it's another individual error. It cost us on Saturday (when Stephen Jordan's air shot led to the only goal in a 1-0 defeat to Leeds) and it cost us again in this game. "You can't legislate for that, but at the same time Simmo had kept us in games umpteen times this season already, so I'm not blaming him. It's just one of those things."
