Speed hails Blades` application
Sheffield United manager Gary Speed has praised his players' attitude since he has been in charge.
The Blades have so far endured a disappointing season, losing nine of their 19 npower Championship matches to lie fifth from bottom in the table, but Speed has no complaints about their effort.
Speed, who replaced Kevin Blackwell in August, said: "We can't afford to feel sorry for ourselves and, to give the boys their credit, they've never done that.
"Their attitude and application has always been excellent. Nobody can fault them for that whatsoever."
