Maguire missing for Blades

Sheffield United will be without suspended defender Harry Maguire for the home game against Walsall.

Centre-half Maguire received his fifth booking of the season in the weekend win at Bristol City and sits out a one-game ban, so Matt Hill is in contention to return to the starting line-up.

Midfielder Ryan Flynn was an unused substitute on Saturday and remains doubtful due to an on-going foot problem, but striker Shaun Miller, recently back in action following a long-term knee injury, could be recalled to the side after being rested at the weekend.

The Blades secured their first away win of the league campaign at Bristol City and are chasing back-to-back victories for the first time this season.

Walsall continue to boast a full-strength squad for the trip.

Saddlers boss Dean Smith named an unchanged XI for the third game in succession on Saturday as the midlands club claimed a valuable goalless draw at Crawley.

It was a third clean sheet on the spin and followed impressive home victories over Shrewsbury and Peterborough.

And Smith will see no reason for change at Bramall Lane as eighth-placed Walsall look to close the one-point gap between themselves and the play-off places.
