O'Grady set for Blades bow

Sheffield United could hand striker Chris O'Grady a debut for the clash with MK Dons.

The former Sheffield Wednesday frontman, who arrived on loan last Thursday, missed Friday night's 1-1 draw with Notts County with a calf injury but has trained and will be in contention.

O'Grady's presence in the squad could tempt Nigel Clough into a change of system and with Michael Higdon and Marc McNulty fit again, the Blades boss has plenty of options in attack.

Right-back Craig Alcock also missed Friday night's clash, but he is back in the frame after a sore back and could displace Ryan Flynn and right-back.

The in-form Dons have no new problems following Saturday's demolition of Colchester.

Captain Dean Lewington missed the 6-0 victory at the weekend through injury and the experienced left-back remains a doubt ahead of Tuesday night's trip to south Yorkshire.

With Milton Keynes manager Karl Robinson yet to pick the same team in consecutive games this season, changes could be on the cards despite the convincing win against the Us.

It would be hard to drop striker Benik Afobe following his hat-trick, although the Dons top scorer could be rested with Will Grigg taking his place. The likes of Dean Bowditch, Danny Green and Mark Randall will also hope to benefit from Robinson's rotation policy, considering this is the Don's fourth game in eleven days.
