Aiden O'Brien at the double as Millwall see off Sheffield United

Aiden O'Brien scored twice to give Millwall a third straight victory, winning 2-1 at Sheffield United.

Jose Baxter was on target for the hosts but Millwall had enough thanks to O'Brien.

Millwall carved out a couple of early chances with Fred Onyedinma shooting wide from the right-hand side of the area and Mark Beevers heading wide after meeting George Saville's corner.

United's Che Adams grazed the outside of Jordan Archer's right-hand post with a low 20-yard shot and Chris Basham had a goal-bound shot blocked.

It was first blood to Millwall when O'Brien (30) got his head to a ball played into the area by Shaun Cumming and steered the ball beyond keeper Mark Howard.

Saville then tested Howard with a low drive which forced the keeper to get down to his right to save.

Baxter (70) equalised with a fine, first-time shot past Archer following Kieron Freeman's low cross.

O'Brien (80) scored the winner, sliding in to meet Shane Ferguson's ball across the face of goal and force the ball over the line.
