On-loan Kallio picks up illness

The Finland international, drafted in from Fulham to help Blades manager Kevin Blackwell cope with a depleted squad at the end of November, missed the goalless draw with Nottingham Forest after complaining of feeling unwell.

Blades assistant manager Gary Speed said: "The doctor thinks it's something like tonsillitis and again we have had to reshuffle at the last minute.

"The gaffer had picked his team on Monday and then Tony is ruled out and it means yet another change.

"Andy Taylor hasn't played for weeks, but came in and did very well to last the 90 minutes and Mark Bunn kept another clean sheet.

"Although he didn't have too much to do he cleared up well at the back and the pair of them gave the manager something to think about."
