No quick return for Blade Taylor

Taylor, 23, the latest of manager Kevin Blackwell's squad to be ruled out through injury, was forced out of the first half in the Blades' 4-3 home defeat to Cardiff last time out.

But Taylor's expected return could coincide with the comebacks of long-term absentees Gary Naysmith and Derek Geary, neither of whom have appeared this season due to respective knee injuries.

Blackwell said: "Taylor will be out with a torn thigh for another three or four weeks, while Gary Naysmith, who has trained for the first time in six months, has done ever so well but, like Derek Geary, is still five or six weeks away."

Richard Cresswell (ribs), Jamie Ward (broken wrist), Nick Montgomery (knee), Lee Williamson (back), Andrew Davies (knee) and Paddy Kenny (drugs ban) all remain sidelined.
