The Championship club have accepted a £6million offer from the Toffees for Naughton, who has been given permission to discuss a move to Goodison Park. However, reports claim Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp wants to hijack the deal, while Aston Villa have also been credited with an interest. Blackwell accepts Naughton's appearance in Friday's friendly against Maltese side Floriana is likely to be his last outing for the club, but he is waiting for the youngster to agree a deal before accepting defeat. When asked if it was the right-back's last game, Blackwell told Sky Sports News: "Possibly, if he can agree deals. We'll see what happens. "They've still got to agree personal terms and that's not always a foregone conclusion, but I'm afraid it could well be his last game." If Naughton does secure a move to the Premier League, Blackwell believes the 20-year-old can force his way into the England squad for the 2010 World Cup. Blackwell told the Sheffield Star: "If things go well for him then I would not be surprised to see him on the plane to South Africa. "I've worked with the likes of (James) Milner and (Aaron) Lennon before and Kyle is right up there with them. That's how good he is. "He's got terrific ability and if he does go then he goes with my best wishes because he's a smashing lad."
