Former Sheffield United, Leicester City and Derby County midfielder Lee Morris has signed for Blue Square Premier League outfit Kidderminster Harriers. lee morris - now with kidderminster harriersMorris, 30 was released by League Two side Hereford United this summer has joined the non-league outfit on a free transfer.He came through the ranks at Bramall Lane and made his debut in December 1997 in a 1-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers and in October 1999 made a big money (£3,000,000) move to Derby County.He left the club having made 16 (+17) appearances under Nigel Spackman, Steve Thompson and Steve Bruce, whilst finding the net eight times.Harriers boss Steve Burr said of his signature; "Lee has had one or two injury problems, as have most players who are around his age."But this can be a fresh start for him. It might not have worked out for him at Hereford last season but it goes without saying he is someone who knows where the net is."He's gone for some big money during his career and he will bring some real experience to the side - as well as some goals."Other former clubs include; Leicester City, Yeovil Town and Burton Albion whilst he has also featured for Huddersfield Town, Mansfield Town and Forest Green Rovers on loan.We would like to wish Lee the best of luck with his new club.
