The 27-year-old initially joined the Blades on loan from Watford in March 2005 before signing a permanent deal just three months later. But the forward is now on the look-out for a new club and told the Sheffield Star: "I am disappointed not to be part of the club's plans but I have enjoyed some good times at Sheffield United. "I have given it my all but life goes on. My agent is speaking to clubs as we speak and I am not at all worried about my future. "I wish all the lads and the staff all the best. It is a fantastic place to play football and the fans were brilliant with me. "Unfortunately this year we fell short but I think the club deserves to be in the top flight."
