Kevin Blackwell's side climbed to fifth and closed the gap on second-placed Birmingham to six points thanks to David Cotterill's controversial late penalty. Kilgallon said: "It's a massive confidence boost to beat Birmingham. We started well and were in control throughout. This has given us a lot of belief and hopefully we can keep going now. "At the moment it seems nobody wants to win this league. I watched the results on Saturday and just couldn't believe what was happening with all the results going our way, so we knew we had a massive opportunity. "We were saying before the game that we are due the rub of the green and after 'Morgs' (Chris Morgan) had scored an unfortunate own goal, I suppose we got that - although I haven't seen the penalty decision."
