Kenny off United's transfer list

Kenny was put up for sale by Blades boss Kevin Blackwell over Christmas after turning up late for training. He was also dropped from the team, but quickly reclaimed his place to play a key role in the Blades' push for promotion from the Championship. Blackwell has now confirmed Kenny is no longer on the transfer list and aims to offer the 30-year-old an extension to his contract, which expires at the end of next season. "We put Paddy on the list after he reported late for training," said Blackwell. "But he's shown that he wants to stay here and we want him to stay as well. "We are trying to sort out a new contract for him in the summer. I'm delighted because he's the best 'keeper in the Championship." Sheff. Utd 8/13, Draw 13/5, Blackpool 5/1
