Hendrie thrilled to be playing again

The former Aston Villa midfielder last started for the Blades against Port Vale in the Carling Cup in August before a loan move to Blackpool, but returned to feature in the 1-1 draw with Hull in the FA Cup on Saturday.[LNB]"I didn't sleep on Friday night because I was so excited about getting in to the mix again," he told the club's official website.[LNB]"I spoke to the gaffer when I returned from Blackpool and I am thrilled to bits that he gave me a lifeline - all I want to do is play football.[LNB]"I have worked hard and done the extra yards in training, the gaffer knows I want to play but I have had to bide my time and wait for my chance."[LNB]Of his performance against Hull, he said: "I was happy enough but there is a hell of a lot more in the locker. I couldn't run properly towards the end, my legs were tightening up and it was probably just as well that the manager brought me off - I didn't want to let anyone down."[LNB][LNB]
