Friendlies Announced

08 June 2013 12:40
Sheffield United will play a series of friendlies against league opposition; Mansfield Town, Bury and York City in preparation for the 2013-14 League One season.

Prior to their home based fixtures, all to be played away from Bramall Lane, they will undertake a four day tour of Scotland.

The Blades have not travelled to Field Mill, home of Mansfield Town since pre-season 2010 when the Stags won by a single goal to nil, whilst the Blades have been in competition with Bury for the previous two seasons until their untimely relegation under former boss Kevin Blackwell. United haven’t met York City (competitively) since 1981 in the league.
