Evans vows to prove worth for Blades

The 20-year-old Wales international, who has signed a three-year contract, has dropped down from the Premier League for regular first-team football. Evans said: "I'm really pleased it's all done, coming to Sheffield United will bring me regular first-team football. I need to be playing and I think this is the place to be. "There were a few clubs interested in me and I had a big decision to make, but this is the right one. The club has got Premiership facilities and the lads are great - hopefully myself and the rest of the players can get the club back there. "There's still things to be proved, it was frustrating at Manchester City. I've taken a step down to improve and I can't wait to get going and scoring goals. It's going to be a long, hard season and I'm looking forward to it."
