Evans like a young Shearer - Speed
Speed, a former team-mate of Shearer's at Newcastle, believes Wales international Evans, 20, has all the attributes to make it to the top of the game.[LNB]Speed said of the £3million summer signing from Manchester City: "He reminds me of him in the way he runs and holds the ball up and he hits the ball harder than anyone I have ever seen. When he hits them in training the lads get out of the way.[LNB]"Alan was a goalscorer and against Palace Ched was more dynamic and running into the box like Shearer would have done. We play high energy, but sometimes he forgets and we're on at him all the time about it.[LNB]"He has all the attributes to be a top player and if he retains his willingness to work and learn he can go as high as he wants in the game."[LNB]Evans, who has scored three goals since arriving at Bramall Lane, fired 10 in 20 starts while on loan at Norwich during the 2007/8 season.[LNB][LNB]
