The 21-year-old, a free signing from West Ham earlier this month, scored the goal that clinched the Championship title for Wolves at Barnsley last season while on loan at Molineux. Reid said: "I'm really pleased to have signed. Although I spoke to other clubs, as soon as I found out from the gaffer what his plans for me for next season are it excited me. He told me he wants to develop me as a player because he feels I have the ability. "There weren't any ifs and buts. I quickly made the decision to come here. The manager said he had been watching me for a couple of years, in West Ham's reserves and the loan spells, and that he had been after me for a while - it's nice to feel wanted." Reid is a product of West Ham's academy and made two appearances for the Hammers in 2006 before embarking on loan spells at Barnsley, Crystal Palace, Blackpool and latterly Wolves.
