Donny and Boro chosen for TV coverage

The Blades have had their second and third games of the 2010/2011 season altered due to television coverage... Our curtain raiser with Cardiff City in South Wales has already been put back to Sunday 8th August, and now we have had a further two games chosen to be broadcasted live. For the first time since they won the rights to show live Championship games in 2009, the BBC have selected United and their South Yorkshire derby with Doncaster Rovers on Saturday the 23rd October as one of their live broadcasts. The kick-off time has been changed to 5:15PM. Meanwhile, our trip up north to Middlesbrough has also been chosen for live television coverage. Sky Sports, who chose our fixture with Boro at The Riverside for live coverage last season, have again decided to switch the game from its original date in order for it to be shown. The game against Gordon Strachan's men has been moved to Sunday the 22nd of August, kick-off 1:15PM. These two games being changed increases the amount of games altered from the orginian fixture list to five. Cardiff (TV), Hartlepool, Middlesbrough (TV), Derby (police advice) and Doncaster (TV) are the affected games. The image used on this article is copyright to Action Images and SportBox.TV
