Cresswell: I'll get on with it

The Stoke striker, who arrived on loan at the end of September, sustained the injury in his second appearance for the Blades when colliding with the goalpost after scoring in the recent draw with Doncaster. Cresswell, who played with injections in the midweek defeat at Blackpool, said: "The ribs are still broken and pretty sore to be honest, it normally takes about six weeks to heal properly, but I gave it a go in midweek and managed to get through the game. "Hopefully the ribs will settle down a bit for the weekend and I will be available for selection. "It's just in my character to get on with things. I don't want any medals for it, I just want to play football and I'm willing to go out there and do my bit, even if it means having injections." Blades manager Kevin Blackwell is currently without 10 first-team players and Cresswell could be forced into action again on Saturday as fellow forward Jamie Ward has a broken wrist, Darius Henderson is struggling with an ankle injury and Billy Sharp is on loan at Doncaster.
