Costly blow for Henderson
Sheffield United striker Darius Henderson requires another hamstring operation and will be out for around four months.
The 28-year-old missed the final two games of last season after suffering the injury during the Sheffield derby at Hillsborough in April.
He had returned to pre-season training but was unable to regain full fitness and will undergo surgery on Tuesday.
"Losing an important member of the squad like Darius is a blow and we wish him well with his rehabilitation," Blades boss Kevin Blackwell told the club`s official website.
"Our squad is not the biggest in terms of quantity but we have other quality forwards who are keen to find the target in the early-season matches."
Henderson is the third serious injury blow of the summer for United following the loss of new signing Simon Walton (cruciate ligament) and Lee Williamson (back).
