Bromby to offer Blades no sympathy

Leeds defender Leigh Bromby will show no compassion when his side take on former club Sheffield United in Saturday's Yorkshire derby. Bromby, back in the Leeds starting line-up, will return to Bramall Lane for the first time since arriving at Elland Road on a free transfer from the Blades in September 2009. Bromby, who spent over four years with the Blades in two separate spells, said: "They're scrapping for points and it'll be a tough game but hopefully we can come out with the win. "I'm still in contact with a few of the players and the staff and it'll be nice to see a few familiar faces but we're going there for the points." Bromby added: "The most successful part of my career was there. It's a good club with good people and it's a shame they're in the position they are. "It's a tough league but I'm surprised they are down there. I've never come across Micky Adams but he seems a good man and I hope he can turn it around down there and get them out of the situation they're in."
