Boss: Quinn can hit double figures

Quinn fired his third goal of the campaign in last week's win over Crystal Palace - last season he scored eight - and Blades boss Kevin Blackwell expects plenty more from the fast-improving Irishman.

Blackwell said: "The left-side of midfield is possibly his best position and every player favours a certain role. But he knows and appreciates what the team need and he's able to carry out different instructions.

"When Gary Speed was playing last season I played Quinny on the left, but when Speedo was out we needed his energy in the middle.

"Quinny has great energy to get up and down the flank and he'll probably be able to get into scoring positions more often.

"He's got three goals already this season and after getting seven or eight last season, hopefully he will be able to get into double figures, which will be a great contribution from a midfielder."
