Blades wait on Kilgallon verdict

Kilgallon has undergone a scan after missing the goalless draw with Nottingham Forest and the Blades' coaching staff face an anxious wait before finding out how long the central defender is likely to be sidelined. Blackwell said: "It's been diffcult to get a scan over the bank holiday. He's got a knee ligament strain and we're not sure as to the severity of it. "But it's bad enough that he couldn't play (against Nottingham Forest). We're hoping he'll just miss the one game." Kilgallon, 25, sustained the injury during the 1-0 win at Reading on Friday.
