Blades Turn the Page

Former Sheffield United and Watford defender Robert Page has emerged as a new front runner to take charge of the Blades.

Page, 35 is currently a coach at newly promoted League One outfit Port Vale (managed by Micky Adams), he spent three years at Bramall Lane under Neil Warnock between 2001 and 2004 – making 104 appearances and has in the past three years been part of the coaching team at Vale Park.   

He has since been linked with the vacant managers job at Bramall Lane along with Chris Morgan and another former Blade, Wally Downes.
