Npower League One outfit Sheffield United has agreed a sponsorship deal with Nexis Holdings PLC. The deal with the international technology group will see no money exchange hands but the Bramall Lane club will be rewarded with a significant amount of shares whilst the Blades have promised season ticket holders 100 ordinary shares in Nexis. Sheffield United owner Kevin McCabe said: "Nexis is an emerging organisation in growth sectors which are going to be dominant in coming years. This is a great opportunity for Nexis to increase their profile and build contacts in the UK. "A football club the size of ours will offer Nexis great exposure in the UK. We are delighted to have concluded this groundbreaking partnership and expect all concerned to find it very beneficial." Blades fans will see the name Nexis branded on the rear the clubs home shirts.
