Blades take on Rivals in Pre-Season.
Sheffield United is to host South Yorkshire rivals Doncaster Rovers in a pre-season friendly according to Doncaster Free Press. The Blades lost at the Keepmoat Stadium (0-2) last season as the pair went head to head in the npower Championship and the result looked very similar at the Lane too until Daniel Bogdanovic scored towards the end and United levelled through an unlikely source – defender Robert Kozluk. The game is currently scheduled for Friday, 29th July 2011 at Bramall Lane; we would hope that this game is moved to Saturday in order to draw a better crowed. As of yet no other fixtures have been announced but we are sure that the regular friendlies at Mansfield Town and Rotherham United will be selected once again. It would however be splendid to see trips to Grimsby Town and Lincoln City (ed; personal opinion) included in our line up.
