Blades set for b2net trip
The Blades are set to announce their fourth pre-season friendly of 2010... A trip to Chesterfield's brand new b2net Stadium is on the cards for Blades fans. It's reported that a pre-season fixture between the Blades and the Spireites has been pencilled in for Tuesday 27th July 2010. Incidentally, United faced Chesterfield in a pre-season friendly at Saltergate last year. Jamie Ward, returning to his former club, scored from the penalty spot in a 2:0 Blades victory. Trips to Mansfield, Burton and Rotherham have all already been planned. Mansfield on July 10th, Burton on July 20th and Rotherham at the Don Valley on July 24th. In addition, the Blades will be embarking on an unsurprising trip to the Mediterranean Island of Malta.
