The Blades have yet to officially finalise any preparations for this summers friendlies prior to next season’s start but it is understood that clubs contacted United prior to their semi-final showdown with Yeovil Town, some from all levels of the Scottish Football League – including top flight clubs also.
However there priority will be to find a successor following the dismissal of Danny Wilson a month ago and the new man at the helm could have a say into any friendly matches scheduled for next season.
