Blades can cope with Kilgallon loss

The influential centre-half looks set for a spell on the sidelines as he nurses knee ligament damage and, with the extent of the injury still unknown, Blackwell is confident that he has enough resources to cover Kilgallon's absence. "Obviously Killa has developed into an excellent centre-half," Blackwell told the Star. "So it goes without saying that you'd rather have him available than not. "But if he does have to sit things out for a while then we've got someone like Leigh Bromby to come in who has also done brilliantly since coming back here on loan from Watford. "What's really pleased me is that, whoever has come into that position, they've done really well and things have been pretty seamless."
