Blades boss mulls over trialists
Former Reading winger Little, released by Portsmouth earlier this summer, and Gray, who left Fulham in July, both played for most of the 2-0 friendly win over Chesterfield at Saltergate.
Blackwell said: "They have been a credit while with us and I expect to make a decision on them by the end of the week, but of course they will be the first to know.
"In any event I'm hopeful of bringing three or four players in very soon."
The Blades, for whom new signing Andy Taylor made his first appearance at left-back, ran out comfortable winners at the League Two side, with Leigh Bromby giving them a first-half lead and Jamie Ward converting a penalty against his former club after being hauled down in the area.
