Blades At Home On Day One

Sheffield United will face newly promoted Shrewsbury Town on the first day of the season and will also be at home on Boxing Day (Scunthorpe United) and on final day against Preston North End.

The Blades start their season against Shrewsbury Town as Danny Wilson's side looks to get over their Wembley heartache on 18th August - previous to that they face Burton Albion at the Lane, though no date has been confirmed.

Our first away game is at Coventry City four days later and face Scunthorpe United on Boxing Day - also at the Lane and lastly Preston North End on the final day of the season.

The Blades 'biggest' games of the season will undoubtedly be against South Yorkshire rivals Doncaster Rovers and will firstly face Donny at home on 18 September and at the Keepmoat on New Years Day.
