Blades and Owls set for Sheffield Fans Derby

The ninth Sheffield Fans Derby held between the supporters of Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday and event organizer Ian Atkins is asking for your help in raising money for this fantastic event.

The Sheffield Fans Derby is a twice yearly event between the fans of Sheffield United FC and Sheffield Wednesday FC to raise money for charity. The eighth event took place at the end of May and is expected to have raised over £3,000 for SHC South Yorkshire Heart Appeal.

They are pleased to announce that the ninth Sheffield Fans Derby is to take place at Don Valley Stadium on Thursday 18th October 2012 with a 7:30pm Kick-Off. The charity the event will be supporting this time is Sophie's Wish who help raise funds for Brain Tumour research.

Sheffield Fans Derby would like invite players who wish to take part in the event to register their interest - time is short and have until this Sunday, 12th August at 5pm to register.
