The Blades had to settle for a play-off spot after missing out on automatic promotion on the final day and the United manager is already plotting a route past Preston in their two-legged semi-final after Sunday's disappointment.[LNB]Blackwell said: "I, and some of my players, have got plenty of experience and success, but if I could take anything away from here it would be Lady Luck.[LNB]"You can prepare properly, but if it is your day it will be, and if not, it won't. The hand of fate can be so unpredictable although Preston and ourselves are probably the form teams in there."[LNB]Blackwell added: "We have got to show spirit and commitment, keep organized and stay tight in the first leg and then hope to open it up at home - planning starts straight away.[LNB]"The play-offs are a breed all on their own and stress is incredible for fans, players and management, but the beauty of them is that it is immaterial where you finish."[LNB][LNB]
