Blackwell happy with Blades position

19 January 2010 12:21
The Blades, blighted by a series of injuries this season, ended a run of eight league games without a win in November and have just climbed back into the top six on the back of two successive league wins against Preston and Middlesbrough.

Blackwell said: "Right now we have to try and stay in the top six and not kill ourselves before the run-in.

"Middlesbrough on Saturday were a lot bigger and tougher than they used to be and that's becoming typical of this division so I'm glad that fixture is out of the way.

"Our side has been rebuilt again since May, so it pleases me that we're now where I would gladly have settled for when we began in August."
